Last month we celebrated a special 30th birthday with my friend Sunny. I wanted to create a bright and colourful card to reflect her personality and it had to be a unique shape – so when I saw this card by Mary Fish on pinterest I knew I wanted to case it (you can follow my own pinterest board by clicking on the icon in the left sidebar).
These are the stampin up products I used to create the card;
- Stamp Set: Petite Pairs
- Paper: Polka Dot Parade DSP, 2011-2013 In Color DSP Stack, Rich Razzleberry, Lucky Limeade, Whisper White
- Ink: Rich Razzleberry
- Punches: Blossom Petals Builder Punch, 1 3/8″ Circle Punch, 1″ Square Punch (to create the flag)
- Accessories: Floral Frames Framelit Dies and the Big Shot die cutting machine, 3/16″ brights brads, stitched Rich Razzleberry grosgrain ribbon
You should note however that the directions for Stampin’ Up! Framelits Dies indicate that they are intended to cut through only one layer of card stock and to create this card I cut through two pieces at the same time. This may void your warranty if you try it at home – so please be careful.
Have a great day and try to get some stamping in!
